Libellus
2021 & 2025

Libellus — Latin for “small book” — is a thoughtfully designed app for language enthusiasts. It functions as a digital folder, allowing users to collect and organize their favorite words and phrases in a clear, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing way.

Users can choose to keep their collections private or shared, depending on whether they wish to keep their discoveries quietly or exchange them with others for a more vivid and dynamic learning experience. With a clean, book-like interface and subtle typographic cues, Libellus invites slow exploration and thoughtful learning.

The app’s customization features allow users to personalize their collections — visually and structurally — making the process of learning and revisiting language not only effective, but also engaging and enjoyable.

Language learners often struggle to keep track of words that feel personal, interesting, or hard to categorize. Libellus offers a space to gather those fragments — not in lists, but in meaningful, customizable collections.
